yeah theres is no doubt that im anti china but this also falls back on the old says that if it sounds too good to be true.... then it probably is. how can they offer such a high quality part at a fraction of what other parts cost? i think they are just banking on the fact that odds are you wont keep the truck long enough to take advantage of the warranty or that you'll die in a wreck and wont be around to to complain about it. to each there own though you do things your way i do things mine but my mind set is that i only want to do it once and im in it for the long haul

thats a really bad way of looking at it....if you can't afford the parts, I would sell the truck IMHO!
(sell it to someone who can afford to maintain it properly)

I was trying to make a point. Aa far as buying parts that last, Chevy probably puts shit parts on it from china to begin with. Why the hell is everyone replacing the same parts all the time? Moog will wear out over time. Maybe just longer. The company says their parts of of OEM quality, fit and finish. Time will tell.
Bottom line is very few things are actually "made in America" anymore. Dropmech has a valid point there. I'd be willing to put money on most parts in our trucks from the manufacturer being made in another country and assembled at a factory (also not necessarily American).

True enough...if GM really cared these components could be engineered to not fail in the first place.
Resulting in large SUV's that cost $250,000 instead of $60,000. It's not about caring. Engineering, by and large, is done as an excercise in managing compromises. This particular example is a compromise between cost and service life.
I would wager that while the original posters parts are ready to replace, they haven't yet failed completely, and likely could last forever without failing in a manner to cause bodily harm/damage. Performance would be (or is already) significantly diminished, but the parts are still in fact doing thier job. I would wager the same for the "chinese crap" parts he has chosen to put in there as replacements.
With all that said, I run Moog parts when replacing suspension/steering gear. I like the performance I get from them, and the additional cost is worth it. I've used "chinese crap" parts in the past when money was tight, or availability was an issue. I've not crashed and burned, but I did replace those sooner than the Moog items.

thats all well and good but at the end of the day, buying cheap chinese suspension parts WILL bite you in the ass....what happens if a cheap chinese balljoint or cv joint breaks while driving???
The same thing that will happen when your Moog balljoint or cv joint fails when driving.
If you are keeping up on your maintenance and/or paying attention to your vehicle at much of any level, then is the risk really any different between a cheap part and a "good" part? The penalty for failure is the same regardless of which part fails. The "good" part only buys you a longer timeframe before that failure.....and potentially a more noticable warning.
Like I said above I run Moog items in my vehicles as a general rule, however have run the "El Cheapo" variety on numerous occasions for various reasons. Having had a factory GM balljoint fail at speed after ignoring the clunking while turning for several months. I don't see a difference in the actual risk between the two. It's my fault the joint failed catastrophically, it shold've been replaced much sooner.
My point being that "good" parts are "good" parts for a reason, and if for whatever reason you decide to run "cheap" parts you're not destined to be caught in a firey crash in short order.

Parts came today. Just so all the haters know, yes, some of the parts were made in China. Others were made in Taiwan. Lol.
