That is a harsh law, here in Texas you can have 25% on the front two windows and as dark as you want anywhere else besides the windshield.

Most CA laws regarding vehicles are overly harsh

Honestly you know you have illegal tint and your upset about getting a ticket for it? Not to be a dick but you know its to dark and this is what you get for doing that. Just man up and get lighter tint or play hardball with this officer and you will probably lose.

I've gotten plenty of tint tickets and just deal with it. I know its too dark and I run the chance of getting popped for it. I know it sucks but its part of the game.

Exactly my thoughts!!! I'm not sure how you think you are being harassed just because you get caught breaking the law by the same person? So is there a secret rule somewhere that says he's only allowed to catch you breaking the law one time and then you are free to do whatever you want after that?? So if I am speeding down the road and a cop pulls me over and gives me a speeding ticket, can I pull back out into traffic again and drive as fast as I want because if he pulls me over again its harrassment? Does that sound rediculous or what?
