Well, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Really??
I do have a Denali coming, don't I?
So I must see some positive....
I'm just stating my opinion.
I currently own both a Silverado and an F-350, along with the Tahoe and soon to be Denali.
I'm not just spouting off a baseless opinion. I do own both Ford and GM. Actually two fords and two GM trucks... I plow snow and tow heavy.
I'm a ford truck guy, and until Ford updates their prehistoric SUV, I'm buying GM SUVs.
The Denali is my wife's anyway, and her choice.
So are you angry with GM or your wife?
Just kidding...
It snowed a couple of times during my four years in Nashville and it could rain quite hard at times. The hardest rain I've personally driven through was a tropical storm in South Carolina and I was glad to have AWD at the time. I would say that, unless you live in a place where there is snow on the ground through much of the winter or you drive off-road regularly, 4wd isn't particularly necessary (so not just the South). That said, I wouldn't say it's useless, simply that it's necessary infrequently. 4wd can improve safety in more than just snow.
Hope 11/23 will snow hard we have game there and will may go,friend have tickets ready to go.You southerners have no idea what 4x necessity is.
Well when it snows here, we can get it by the feet, and it stays for months.
4x is a must, especially when towing snowmobiles. Check out the first snowfall of last year. Note the snow banks on the road shoulder.

We have seasons tickets. If you come, let me know and I'll buy you a drink at the Jim Kelly Club.
Not much to do in Buffalo, except sports. Very boring in the winter..
And as you guys can see, it's not a lot of pleasure involved with the Bills or Sabres fan..
