I'm getting ready to order.

I rarely use 4wd. But I am thinking about ordering it anyways unless someone talks me out of it.

Test drove one today and it seemed a little stiffer but that could just be my imagination. Any drawbacks?

Resale on 4x4 is worth the added expense.

4x is somewhat useless in the south. It's necessary if you live in snow and ice country.

Just that a lot of your posts seem to have a negative twist in GMs direction on a pretty consistent basis as does the aforementioned member. Just making an observation

Really??
I do have a Denali coming, don't I?
So I must see some positive....
I'm just stating my opinion.
I currently own both a Silverado and an F-350, along with the Tahoe and soon to be Denali.
I'm not just spouting off a baseless opinion. I do own both Ford and GM. Actually two fords and two GM trucks... I plow snow and tow heavy.
I'm a ford truck guy, and until Ford updates their prehistoric SUV, I'm buying GM SUVs.
The Denali is my wife's anyway, and her choice.

Completely disagree. Sorry.

I don't live in the south, so I am assuming that traction isn't as bad as t is in the North in the winter months.

I do agree that 4x will pay for itself at resale. I personally would always buy 4x.
