Really does this thread need anymore off topic posts? Yes, yes it does. Somebody who loves me just ordered my exhaust! Flowmaster 50 series is heading my way! Now we can check that off the list, one down, a million more to go.

Nice, love the flowmaster sound.
Bellis I just realized that our trucks don't have the same engine, but we have a similar noise, does that mean it has to be an accessory system that's the culprit?

Yeah, no shit. Evidently he's got it in his head it's going to shake the windows like his Silvy (he has his dumped off). I'd still like to stalk people in the future, this does not coincide with those plans.

Luckily a 50 series muffler won't shake your windows :)

Maybe, but I don't know. Maybe it's nothing to worry about? The fact that it's so infrequent, can't be replicated and seems generally random...

I really don't know though, Hybrids are a vehicle I don't know much about. Aside from the fact that I decided if I bought one and it broke, I didn't want to pay to fix it.

Yeah, the one he has now I cringe when he starts it up in the early mornings or late at night. It literally shakes the windows. I'd feel sorry for our neighbors, but they're WT, so I don't really.

Bellis,

I completely understand not wanting to take the vehicle in considering it is an intermittent problem.

Are any warning lights coming on in your vehicle when this occurs?

If you can get video of the noise that would be great!

Nope, all is running completely normal. No high temps, no warning dings or lights, battery is good, it just moos on occasion.

Trust, I'm working ******* a video.

That Rav 4. I could hardly tell what I was looking at from all the damn chrome. Ridiculous. I bet he spends every paycheck he has in the Autozone chrome accessories aisle. And holy cow! Is that freakin' neon underneath? I haven't seen that since Spinners in '01.:supergay:

Install on the Flowmaster should be this week, comes in today or tomorrow. l know I need to get it dumped after the rear axle, but that's about as far as my knowledge for exhaust goes.

Thoughts? I need to be able to present my case, otherwise Mr. Bellis is going to have a field day at the exhaust shop. :/

Run it right out the back or side like stock. If you cut it short underneath the truck the noise will drive you insane. That's too nice a truck to go all redneck on the exhaust!!!!
