Personal opinion is that the wheels dont match color wise-if they did, I'd like them better. Of course I also think you should drop the truck 3-4" over those wheels. The eyebrows look unfinished. Maybe a contrasting colored pinstripe along the edge would finish it.

Well ibe decided ... white is the way to go. I hired a friends son to strip the plasti dip off and give my chrome wheels one last polish... come next winter... i will return to stock wheels while these get sent out to have the chrome removed... then paint or powder coat white. Also thinking of doing the lips in the white carbon fiber hydrodip.

Shit if u ever dip wheels again stick index cards inbetween the lip and the tire so u don't get all that over spray on the tires.

I dropped it off and had it done... so in the end, guy did all the work amd all the overspray had been cleaned off.... but that sounds like a great idea...

Having the plasti dip removed and the wheels will be redone in liquid vinyl. If u have not heard about it yet... its similar to plasti dip... but way tougher. Peeled plasti has the consistency of a latex glove.... liquid vinyl is closer to duct tape...

Well the plasti dip did not really hold up. Found a customizing shop that does liquod wraps. So thats what im gonna have done.

Goes on like pro plasti dip... however where plasti dip has the consistency of latex gloves... the liquid vinyl has the consistency of duct tape. Way more durable... if u wanna know more incam make a thread about it.

So the wheels will be re done in a matching "ish" pearl white with a gloss. The calipers will be done in hi temp red ceramic. The eyebrows will go... and the head lights will be smoked like the tailnlights and the lighting will be upgraded with hids and ballasts. A full detail to round it all out... Goes in next Tuesday.
