Not looking good on getting an order placed for a Tahoe HC diesel. Been on the list since before orders opened and dealer hasn't received allotment yet to get my vehicle picked up by Chev for building. I'm dealing with a high volume dealer up here in Ontario and I've dealt with them before with great success. I renew vehicles every 6 months or so and it is a PIA to search dealers and deal with new sales people when I need one. My order sheet is fairly basic its a HC with the HC Deluxe package and floor mats. Sometimes I think Gm/Chev throttles the allotment to create demand don't have much luck ordering them.
They better get this tariff crap sorted out. I love my Yukon but not sure I’d be willing to pay another $30,000 for one. I balked at the Denali XL last year because I refused to pay JT and Chrystia’s luxury tax… even if it was going to be $1500-$2k. Got a loaded XL SLT instead. Kinda regret it now lol.
Crazy how much a year has changed with the new diesel. I ordered our diesel Yukon on Feb 18 last year and it was in our driveway before the end of April (and I’m on the east coast too).
If you’re getting a new truck every 6 months (really?) why not just deal with the sale manager? You must have some sort of discount arranged and should be an easy customer?
