I was hoping some1 could steer me in the right direction on this one...here it is...I cant make up my mind on to run my current set up or get a nick williams 102mm tb and xlink harness. Its 2003 gmc yukon denali awd 6.0l lq4 fresh from the machine shop with a .030 over bore with Wiseco forged pistons, stock length eagle forged I beam rods, melling hv oil pump, cloyes billet timing chain 3bolt, arp rod bolts, arp main and head studs, 0.000 deck gm 243 heads ,comp valve springs, comp cam-xfi rpm cam [email protected] intk216 exh220, comp lifters, comp hitec push rods7.4"length, comp ultra gold arc series 1.72 ratio rockers, fast lsxrt 102mm intake manifold, fast fuel rails, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator,bbk80mm tb,bbk shorty headers, magnaflow cat back, and preformabuilt level2/heavy hauler transmission with a 2500stall tq conv....now for what I think I need b4 1st start, fuel injectors(cant decide on which ones until I figure out if I wanna keep the 80mmbbktb), and most importantly a tune(also hv fuel pump). B4 the over bore I had the same set up but tuned with a diablo sport n I think thats the reason I fried the rings n f'd up the cylinders, my guess I washed the walls n over revved....so I really get a nw williams 102tb but I read bad things about the xlink harness?? I need to pass md state emissions n I really need a tuners advice n experience and I jus straight up need a tuner thats willing to work with me on this...any advice, recommendations,comments/opinions would be greatly appreciated! thanks every1.......I posted this on preformance trucks but cant get any input n figured this site has a better active community n I always get get alot of responses from everyone here!

i am almost ready to fire the motor for the first time this build!!! jus need to flush the oil cooler line and replace the FAST tb plate or replace the helicoil that sprung cuz the tangs were never punched . im going to run the factory tune for now but i still want to accomplish everything stated above..........

but now i am wondering about plug wires. i had ngk plugs and the msd 8mm wires and MSD coils (junk imho) the truck did not like them at all and would not run unless in engine reduce power (not cool!) so i went back to oe .....i dont kno how i didnt realize b4 but the oe plug wires are just alil short now. i have tall moroso valve covers but didnt see this problem b4 the rebuild. is it possible that maybe my deck height has raised with the new gasket thickness and thats y the wires shrunk lol?

anyways jus wanted to hear what u all have to say about options and if i should get some taylor wires or another brand that wont cause misfire cuz the wire resistance is too high or low...also if any has tried the same previous msd ngk setup and if they had issues or heard about anything like this or this is just another tony hickup!?

The 102 is not necessary unless you have maxed out your 80...which would not happen until well over 6000rpm.

New wires aren't necessary either, as long as your other ones are in good shape

Short headers are a waste of money after all you did to your engine. Long tubes will yield more low end tq and top end hp. I don't understand why people take the easy way out.

You would need to be spinning over 5700 to max out the stock 78mm, and 7600 on the 90mm.

Ditto on the LTs, much more efficient than shorties.
