Running e85?

yep 76% E on those logs. not going to get much more out of injectors, with another 2-3psi the injector duty cycle gets up around 80%. pump has been doing good but i dont know how much more itll flow either

other stuff - after compression test, i put back in the heat range 9 plugs. The #8 plug was clean like too clean as if it werent firing very often so i threw one of the "old" coils back on that cyl. it seems much happier and will actually climb pretty smooth. I did turn the boost down to about 13psi, been going good i may put it back up and see if it stays happy.

still having some cooling probs, air getting trapped in the radiator after driving for a while. going to wait till new expansion tank gets here before i look into more drastic measures. ordered some stuff to get a larger main hose from the steam ports to the expansion tank and then plumb the top port from the radiator to a port on the expansion tank that will keep it under water level - so it cant suck air, but hopefully release the steam from the radiator

so the magnafuel is in-line with the stock pump outside the gas tank? how does that work?

stock pump from the bucket> flex fuel sensor> check valve> 10an Y

tank sump>pre filter>magnafuel>post flter>checkvalve> same 10an Y

same 10an Y has fuel pressure sensor mounted in it> 10an fuel line to back of intake> to a 10an/8an/8an split for rails> out of rails 8an to fuel pressure regulator>8an return back to tank

stock pump is still pwm, runs 43.5psi under normal condition, ramps up to 58psi when needed. still works like its deadheaded

fuel pressure regulator is mechanically set to open about 60psi, so it doesnt really open until the big pump comes on. and it has a 1:1 rise with boost

Holy crap that Magnafuel will pump some juice!

its a nice pump, i havent had any issues but am only running it when im in boost...not continuously. slightly hyped with the rating - rated at 2k hp @45psi, E85 knocks it down to like 1500hp, running it at 70psi knocks it down another 200 or so hp. they say itll do like 1200 wheel hp on E85. at that point i dont know how my stock pump helps but hopefully adds a little buffer to it.
I think its rated like 2.7gpm, the larger aeromotive pumps werent out at the time and the A1000 i heard too many stories about them dying. im happy with it but will prob swap it for one of the large 5/7/10gpm aeromotive pumps if i ever upgrade
