I'm just getting started looking into lift ideas for my 2016 Tahoe but it seems there are only spacers available to lift the rear of the tahoe in the 2-3" range? Does no one make aftermarket springs that lift the rear 2-3"? I plan to 4-wheel my Tahoe a little bit getting to some dispersed camping areas and I like the idea of having better articulation/wheel travel in the rear suspension but if spacers are the only choice then I guess that's what I will use
I had a tacoma before my tahoe and jeeps before that, so the lack of aftermarket is definitely frustrating. Thank god for this forum though... tons of good info

Just wondering which route you ended up going?

I am currently in the process of getting a Cognito kit with Fox shocks installed, which raises the front 3”.

I’d prefer a replacement coil for the rear, opposed to a spacer, considering some of the off roading I do.
Can anyone confirm if OEM z71 rear springs will provide a lift over the non z71 Tahoe.
Or if there are any good alternatives…

Yes.
I have the z71 suburban border patrol springs.
I’m trying to remember how much lift over a Denali xl spring. Iwant to say it’s in a post
Running 10” shocks, started with multimatics and now running ADS Racing.

Part numbers and specs on the springs in the video. Including the spring rates of them, measurements etc etc
Not sure if I missed it… But is the part number in the video?

Here’s the info you provided for the Tahoe

I think I listed 2 springs. One is for the Tahoe/Yukon and one is for the suburban/XL.

The difference is the spring rate. All external lengths are identical. But the stiffer spring rate (suburban/XL) will give the taller stance and more load capacity.

Not a lot, just a bit, because it’s simply to make up for the weight increase of the longer vehicle.

Again, I’m running the suburban springs on my XL.
