Been back reading your thread, saw the pics of the steering wheel buttons lit up and thought "How cool!"

Then it was "Wait a minute!" Are they SUPPOSED to be backlit?? Like from factory?

Cuz mine most assuredly aren't. So I never use them at night. Is there a fuse?

-22 here so I ain't going out to look. Got another 6" of snow yesterday and it's getting old .... and it's only January. :(
More than likely the backlit on yours is burned out. Very common with our trucks. Half mine were burnt out so I sent them to get the LEDs swapped into them. Definitely worth what I spent on it! Send the snow to me! I need it in my ski town here! Haha

Yes on the factory back lights

Do you mean the fuse for the steering wheel lights is the same as the back up lights? Probably not. I'm old ... and not too bright.

Probably just burned out. They're a bit of a PITA to change, but not too bad, just tight quarters.

Assume you have to dismantle your steering wheel, right?

If I could, I would! We get an average of 75" of snow per winter. Rarely all stays as we will get a chinook for a bit and it will mostly melt. But right now, in the open but protected from wind, there is about 16-20" in town. I was never a skier\snowboarder so lots of snow just meant lots of annoyance. Well, except for snowmobiling. Engine=perfect. No engine= uhh ... NO! ;)

EDIT: It just occurred to me that it may not have come with them in Canada that model year.

For instance, I cant turn off my headlights at night if it is running. I thought something was wrong with the switch. Nope, says right in the manual that it can`t be done on Canadian models.

I meant it comes from factory with back lit switches

Yup, pretty much
