Do those adjust Kent screws move the whole assembly itself? I though just moved to adjust the low and hog beam bulbs inside the housing but not the whole thing.
There's 2 adjustment screws. Each one moves it differently. The screw closest to the grill--on mine--moved the inner part of the lens out, so it made the gap between the headlight and grill much smaller. I hope that made sense.

Thanks man! I’m still working the kinks out and dialing it all in haha. By far I like your U-Bar style lights better lol. They look really good from the photos! What brand are those? How’s the quality and fitment? Do they sit totally flush and even in the mounting brackets?

It makes sense and it doesn’t. Lol. I really just need to grab a screw driver and turning screws and seeing what happens. Lol. I’m gonna do it shortly. I tried what @Rocket Man suggested. But as far as I can tell, the headlight assembly is mounted into the bracket on the truck properly and no wires or anything are caught in between the brackets.

Try the screw closest to the grill first. If your aftermarket lights have crappy brackets, you can always swap them out to your oem brackets. That'll work too.

Haha, i understand that. i went through a at least 2-3 sets and different brands and styles trying to get the look just right. I spend time looking for a great set of tails and still nothing really moves me out there.

The U-Bar's i got are they are Anzo's. They were very straightforward and great quality. I've had no issies with them.

I kinda figured they were anzo but wasn’t sure. Do they fit well and align in the bracket well?

So as I played with the adjusting screws, I realize that I completely misunderstood how the assembly as a whole, works. And misunderstood how the adjust screws adjusts, and how the whole assembly moves around and mounts on the bracket. Will explain shortly how I misunderstood.

So I assumed that with these headlight assemblies, the adjust screws moved the bulbs within the housing and the housing itself stayed stationary. Which is why I thought that they weren’t sitting level in the mountain brackets(the part on my truck where the headlight attaches). That’s not the case. The whole lens itself moves up, down, left, and right and the bracket stays mounted in the bracket on the truck. And of course, dummy me, the adjust screws have directions on the them for which one adjusts left and right and which one goes up and down. I did however find that my adjustment screws are inverted. I turned in the direction to go down, and instead went up. So I just had to go the opposite way to get them to go down a bit. I think they are good now, will take another look in the morning. And post some day time photos of the just the housings for comparison.
