I don't know yet man. The truck broke down last week and it's just been sitting since then. I bought the new distributor today but probably won't have time to mess with it for a few more days. I'll let ya know what happens.

Just got done installing the new distributor and she's running like a champ. I'll have to drive it around for the next few days and see how it holds up, but so far I'm happy as could be!

Glad to hear that it's runnning!

Stupid question though, did you change your oil yet? Remember that there are chunks of dist gear ring floating about in there.

Well I've had a bad misfire for a while now. Couldn't figure it out so I finally coughed up the money to have it diagnosed. Turns out I've got 3 bad injectors and my ecm is supposedly screwed up. The shop wants 800 bucks just to replace the 3 injectors and clean the other ones. I said F that since I can buy a complete set for 300 bucks.

So I'm gonna tackle this pita after I get paid next Friday. Just wondering if y'all have any tips or suggestions for other things I should replace or upgrade while I have the top end torn apart.

prepare yourself....

Thanks for pointing that out. It's kind of common sense but I didn't even think of it. I'll do an oil change asap.

Sounds like a pretty decent price. I bought mine from advance for about 120. It only came with a new cap and rotor.

The injectors are ancient history lol I replaced them a few weeks ago. It wasn't the easiest thing ever but it really wasn't too bad. Anyone could do it to tell ya the truth.

i swear it's either that or my fuel pump that's the problem, but i just had my pump replaced so i hope that's not it.
