Really?? I scrolled but didn't see that--or, I didn't remember seeing it. UGH!!!!!
BTW when you hit the button that says “record data” it should say “gen III 99-06 “ and then a timer will start and it says it’s recording. Then when you’re done you need to keep hitting the “previous “ button until it says it’s saving it. :p

Yeah I tried looking up an ECM for it on Amazon by year make model and came up with the same wrong part with 3 connectors. I think that’s an 03. The 01-02 is the only one that works for me. I tried using the correct part number to look it up and found nothing on Amazon.
I actually looked up the part # you gave and they had a few for remand for $100 and they'd flash it according to your vin.

I THINK I did this. Is there a way to check the Autocal to see if it did record the data? Just by scrolling through it?
Thx for the help. So ******* frustrating---to me!

You need to look at the datalog files on a pc. You can see the tune files by going through the menu on the Autocal until you see the option to program and then there will be 2-3 tune files BB sends you that you’ve copied over from the pc. You’ll have a choice on programming different octane tunes for instance. But the datalog files won’t be visible on the Autocal screen.

I got the new column cover today. This aftermarket one has an improved design with the two parts hinging at the backside where they always pop apart. I’ll have to see if it’s harder to install but first I need to paint it.

It won’t stay snapped together at the back by the shifter. I had to rig it with a piece of wire. It got caught by the dash bezel last time I was working on the stereo and I didn’t know it so it got deformed and then when I removed it and used a heat gun to reshape it, I noticed the clip back there was broken. It was always popping apart so it was probably broken for awhile.
