So my yukon was keyed yesterday!

Went to close the garage door last night and noticed a long scratch going down the drivers side door. Really thought it was something light, like maybe someone brushed up against it while walking by. Nope.

Keyed down to the metal, as well as a keyed hood and a nice big dent in the hood. I am currently awaiting a call from the insurance company. Will have pics up shortly.

Sorry to hear that. I was watching this show where this old man keyed this Hummer b/c it was a gas guzzler and he was some environmental weirdo. The owner had cameras and caught the guy. Hope you are able to work it out with insurance. Maybe an old girlfriend....LOL.

You're not alone. Luckily I have a camera aimed on my vehicles due to a property line dispute with a white trash trailer woman. She keyed and then slashed 2 tires on my F250. The tires were $240 each!! I wasn't worried much about the key job on the truck, but the cops charged her for it anyhow.

I am meeting with the adjuster tomorrow, so hopefully he will take care of me. Maybe its time for a hd hood

Thanks for all the replies. It appears from the wording that was keyed that this is probably a case of mistaken identity. Either way it still sucks and i just hope it doesn't happen again after i get it fixed.
