Okay back on this again. .. Was out of town and just came back and now I'm workin on this again.. Had the starter rebuilt and put it in and now it's trying to start like it should and not just cranking away but now it starts and then dies right out.

The alarm is the Python 5710p I believe. And also I let the key sit forward for 15 minutes and then it started. I did notice that the security light was on and then it turned off after letting the key sit forward. . Also did notice that my radio sometimes is not turning on too.

i am looking up details on alarm now. for can you check the fuse for the radio. if is is intact put a meter on the fuse block. neg-ground it somewhere, pos-try probing both terminal on the fuse block with the key on and also in key acc position.

apparently you can disable the remote starter thru a toggle switch or valet mode. that would keep the relay built in from actuating but does not preclude it being damaged inside. i was gonna have you disconnect a wire that would narrow the issue much faster but i can't seem to find a diagram yet for the alarm.

Well now the radio is working again but I can't get the truck to start. .lol.. tried letting the key sit forward for a few times for like 20 minutes or so.

Ha.. got it started and now the radio is still working but my hvac controls seem to be iffy.

when the radio was down were the wipers too? with hvac controls goofed do the rear brakes lights work correctly when pedal is depressed or do they look week in some way?

Not sure if the wipers were down but I believe the brake lights seem to be fine.

My alarm is actually the Python 991 responder lc3 sst.
