Sticky gas pedal

Have a sticking gas pedal in my 01 Tahoe. Only sticks when I first press the gas pedal. Can anyone comment if they have come across this. Was thinking it might be the linkage but everything looks good. I can live with it but it causes a little jump when first accelerating.

have you checked the TB? mine would stick when you first started it up and put it in gear. I cleaned it really good and problem solved

All I have checked so far was the linkage. I'll check the TB over the weekend. I thought if it was the TB it would be sticking more than just at the initial point when I step on the pedal. I'll get some gumout and give it a good cleaning. Thx

Im betting on throttle body. Usually gets gummed up with carbon.

I finally got around to cleaning the throttle body. That was the issue. Alot of carbon making the plate stick. Good as new now. Thx
