Chip, did you look @ the Muth mirror website?

I already had the instructions from the website. I didn't print all of them out though. I got it figured out. Thanks!

For anybody who wants to know, Left/Driver's side blinker wire is Light Blue and can be found in the wire run that comes out of the back of the inside/drivers side fuse box. Same deal for the passenger/right side, only the wire color is Dark Blue. You can ground anywhere.

Really sweet and creative mod! Will definitely try it out.

It's a cool, cheap and easy mod.

My above links are dead, but here you go:

Video here:

I did that under $15 and under 30 minutes.

Perfect sync. Very bright.

Is there a thread or something on how to take the side mirror off in order to do this?

Do I just connect the LED wires to the turn signal wires? The Yukon has the turn signal in the mirror.

Also, this is how the mirror looks. Pretty snug in there. Do you think it'll work? Te light will shine through?

Yeah, there's a thread about it around here somewhere. You're going to be using side emitting LED strips, which are really thin (you can get them on eBay cheap).

First: you take the entire mirror off, then you pop out the glass (it's held in by clips). Clean the surface really well. Apply the LED strips (they should have a "peel and stick" backing on them). Once done: Reassemble in reverse order. Tap the LEDs into the turn signal wiring - which is really simple, because the wiring is right there (under the dash), but I can't remember which wire/color/etc.

That's pretty much all the steps.

If you can find the correct wiring, you're go to go.
