To take or not take off the moldings

Been tossing around the idea or de molding the Tahoe. Just want to get everyone's opinions on it. I've seen some that I like without the moldings (NathanJax/Goodinblack) and then I've seen some where it just seems to be missing something. He nnbs don't have a nice defined body line like the nbs which I loved and that's why I haven't removed mine yet. All opinions and thoughts appreciated.

For those who think I should put LTZ chrome molding on it, I would rather not lol not that I don't like it or the looks it's just not for me.

My vote is to take them off.

Get the 2015 moldings or the nnbs escalade mouldings. Otherwise just leave it all off like me.

I have the Z71, so taking the door moldings off was good for me. If I didnt have the wheel flares, it may be too bare for me as stated above.

Here is my opinion with anything that is put on a painted surface.... It ruins it, the paint underneath emblems and other stick on stuff never gets the sun/rain exposure that deteriorates the CC.

Once they are on for too long you can almost never take them off cause the paint underneath these area's is like new and the rest is "worn". Even with profession detailing I can still see the outlines, I'm OCD so that doesnt help either.

I would take the flares off as well but the front bumper is matched to them I think it would look odd. I wish Chevy and other manufactures that think this stick on stuff looks good, would be more creative with their sheet metal design so it looks better.

Yes I know the molding is there to help protect from door dings more than break up the lack of contours in the side profile design but lets be real, you can get door dings even with them on, just depends on the vehicle you are parked next and its door design, proximity to your vehicle and height. Cant eliminate all or even the majority of chances at door dings
