Did you watch it? Did you hear the pop? Seemed to me that may be like the popping you were describing..?
I do hear it now. Does sound familiar. I noticed mine through the exhaust, I don't think I hear it from under the hood.
Thx for the heads up. I just hope it doesn't hurt the motor in any way.

Maybe you can try with the hood open, and see if it’s similar..?

What makes the crank relearn necessary? I've never had to do one and have replaced several crank sensors/entirely different engines with different cranks lol.
