I took it for some local errands and local highway driving. It drives like shit. Still popping through the exhaust and it almost sounds like every once in awhile it backfires. Nothing loud--maybe like a misfire. It idles fine--still hear a popping coming from exhaust. No codes either.

What do you have to lose by trying the crank sensor relearn? You have a Tech 2, correct?

IMO, you need to get it tuned sooner rather than later. Try the crank re-learn or whatever but get it tuned. Also, have you put some octane boost or run enough premium through it to go out of low octane mode?

I haven't driven it. It has 89 in it now. Maybe I'll put some 91 in it.
yea needs to be tuned...you can prob ride around and watch the fuel trims, they prob way off under acceleration
Am I looking at lt or st? Should it be at 0 while accelerating?

ST, if its reading zero you are into power enrichment

you should be able to accelerate fairly moderately and not be in PE, if giving it any little amount of throttle puts you in PE mode, that needs to be backed off some
