Hoping, that’s the word lol. I should have known but all I can do from here is hope Tony. I’m not much help since I can’t be there. I’d figure it out if we’re neighbors for sure but we’re about as far apart as possible. o_O
Thx Mark, I appreciate that. This thing has been a real *****, I think ever since the 1st 6.0 went. Most days I just want to burn it or drive it over a cliff--like they did on Roadkill. But I can't afford to get rid of it --so I'm stuck with it--just like ******!

This thread is making my hair turn grey. It seems like everybody else has thought of just about everything. Its kind of hard to read back and collect all the symptoms and evidence is there any way you can make a detailed list of the symptoms and what has been checked. I know it's sorta redundant but sometimes one little thing is assumed and so everyone will skip it and that ends up being the simple solution.

Man! That makes perfect sense to do, but honestly I wouldn't even remember where to start.
This issue really started when the shop welded on a new O2 bung on the ps collector. I replaced that O2 because it was lazy-- @Scottydoggs plugged his hpt laptop into it for me and got the readings, saying the ps readings were lazy. I bought a new O2 but it wasn't really stating in because the threads were stripped in the old bung. While it was in--the new O2--it ran fantastic! Didn't sputter or pop and had plenty of power. The next day I drove it to the shop for the new bung--the ride there was fine, but the O2 finally had popped out.
Anyway the shop welded the new bung, and they must've had the new O2 in it when they did. 20210206_121651.jpg
Which was the beginning of it running like shit. My gf drove it home, and I was in my work van, so I didn't know there was an issue until we talked. It sounded fine idling while in park. Taking it for a ride it popped and was breaking up.
There were never any codes, and we all thought it was the O2 that had gotten ruined.
I replaced the O2 today--but I just let it run for a few minutes, I didn't let it warm up. These are the numbers I got off the tech 2--20210207_144332.jpg 20210207_144356.jpg 20210207_144405.jpg 20210207_144422.jpg
So the new O2 is in now but I haven't taken it for a ride since it was snowing all day. So @Dantheman1540 I might've skipped around a little bit, but this is where it stands as of now. Any ideas? Not sure if I mentioned it--no codes.

I believe the switch modules themselves get programmed not the BCM. That’s why they work when you pull them off the other truck. That’s the way stuff works on the NNBS platform. There’s a programming function in the Tech2 for the switch modules. But maybe there’s no programming in the NBS I’m not sure.
Did you check the grounds under the truck first? I had a problem with mine not working and found the grounds on the driver's side underneath by the frame rail were rusted. Cleaned those and they worked fine. Had to use my dremel tool to get it really clean.

Not that it means much--this is the mileage as of today.View attachment 270181

Just wondering did you deactivate decel fuel cutoff? Not sure if that's something that can be messed with using a tech 2 or not but my understanding is it just helps MPG a tiny bit by not throwing fuel at a motor that's slowing down. totally unrelated to your problem tho (I think)

So if the truck ran great to the shop with the new O2 in the old bung then we know it's either totally an intermittent issue likely electrical or it has something to do with that O2 or its circuit.

I think @sonic_the_hedgeh idea is pretty valid I had some weird trailer light issues unit I pulled those grounds off and cleaned them then repainted over them. With your mileage and salt issues they could be really rotten.

Another possibility is a bad sensor out of the box but since it is reading I would doubt that. It's also strange that the truck isn't throwing any codes for the O2.

Is there any way you can reset the LTFT with the tech2? Maybe you had a failing O2 so long that it started to write a ton of LTFT corrections which are now affecting the truck.

Is there any way to scan for misfires with the tech 2? or for knock retard?

I've cleaned those grounds already--they weren't that bad. Also when I had disconnected the old O2 I never got a code either, which I thought was strange. I'm not sure if I can reset ltft with the tech 2. Is that possible @swathdiver , @Doubeleive @Fless ?
Def isn't misfiring. This is at idle.
Thx for all the ideas @Dantheman1540, keep 'em coming if you can think of anything else.
