Yo Ian how many miles on your Tahoe? I had to replace my tie rods at around 84K. Replaced them with Moog also now the steering feels MUCH BETTER. I want to replace my front shocks also to see if it feels NEW again. Lol

between 84 and 86k. I praying its covered cause im too lazy to fix, but dont want to pay either. They replaced my right one under warranty but im now at the 5 year mark on warranty so i hope i still in time.

Of course they didnt tell me that my truck is out of warranty until they started removing the hub. It had to get done, i was hoping it was still under warrany. But there was no way in hell it was going to make it back home.

439.96 fir Hub assembly
155.10 a new rotor. old rotor seized to hub.

Ouch Sumo - I had to do a hub on my Suburban in September it was in real bad shape and I also had the rotor seize on. I got the hub for 119.00 and did both rotors and pads (additional 145.00 in parts) along with it while in there. The hourly on labor is brutal these days - did they at least ****** ya a bit before sliding the bill your way?

While I tackle them big jobs early (once I know they exist) the little annoyances like thumps in the rear over bumps, mirror motors, and wheel rub from lowering all tend to be left for long durations.

Dash crack.

And the 22s don't fit. They rub when the wheel is turned on an incline.

Damn they bent you over and went to town, you could have done rotor and hub for $165 in the driveway.
