In my Tahoe, 95 at the most.

In the 2015 PPV, 125 chasing down cars on the highway. Its surprisingly quiet (minus the poleese equipment rattle) and pretty stable at those speeds. The brakes are the weak point IMO, you can feel them shudder when slowing/stopping and can certainly smell them.

Well, not surprised the brakes are a weak point. Like trying to stop a run away train.

2008 esky went 130 something when i let off. I raced a 350z 3 or 4 times and he couldnt believe my beast was walking on him and iv done 140mph in my supercharged expedition racing a M3. Both felt fine at those speeds but i rarely like driving like that

My favorite was running down a Mustang on the highway in an Essie. I had him with the 6.2L. I had him with handling, because he couldn't drive. The brakes did fade fast, and I knew they would, so I kept that in mind. If I would do it more often, I'd upgrade the pads to something more aggressive.

Had my Hoe up to 103 yesterday on the turnpike, GPS told me. Was doing a steady 101 Np. Was awesome! Lol, riding the fast lane and it was like the parting of the red sea. People think because it's dark blue with tinted windows you're police.

Edit: Need Shocks!

I have been lucky enough to have my 02 suburban on the autobahn. It cruises nicely at 120. The weak point is the brakes but good fluid, braided lines, and good pads and rotor help with fade but a vehicle this big doesn't like to stop. I put nearly 20k driving around Europe in the burb.

Ok - what pads are good if you are it upgrading the doctors or calipers

I always but the best I can find but new to the Yukon. I used carquest ceramic on my last truck and it was definitely better than the originals

On the wife's 2010 denali xl I just upgraded to centric high carbon rotors, powerstop carbon fiber ceramic pads and braided lines and flushed the fluid and it is night and day difference. It is not as good as some of the guys that are running wilwoods but it is definitely cheaper.

For a daily driver, there is no reason to upgrade calipers. But a change in pads can make a tremendous difference.
