wow, that last post was from my phone and I didn't see how bad it autocorrected.

Yes, just looking for good daily driver street pad suggestions. My rotors and calipers are fine. Good Ceramic?

Like I said before I am a big fan of the Cetric high carbon rotors and the Stoptech carbon fiber / ceramic pads.

I don't want to go any faster. 80mph is fast as I need to go. Lol

triple digits in a vehicle the size of a small house isn't a good idea.

+1 on this, also are you running "Z" rated tires? The standard SUV type tires are not meant to handle heat that those speeds generate.

On a separate note, why would you want to take this type of vehicle to that speed, up hill no less?

The tires are rated to 112 or 118 mph. I'd have to look to confirm. Doing 100 is perfectly fine, with plenty of room to spare.

and why wouldn't I want to take this vehicle to 100 MPH??? No reason not too !! It's perfectly stable.

Before my tune, I would top out at around 98 mph. I had Blackbear raise my top speed to 130mph when he did my tune, and I have never hit top speed ever since. I have gone over 120, (my speedo tops out at 120) but I didn't get fast enough to hit the top speed limiter. The driveshaft and "most" tires cannot handle speeds in excess of 100mph. I do still get into triple digits every now and then, but when I do its usually for just a minute or two at the most.

I lived in Germany for a few years with my 02 suburban. With good tires and good brakes these trucks cruise really nice at 120 for hours.
