Turbo Tahoe?

Planning to pull the trigger on a turbo kit for my PPV Tahoe sometime the fall. My choice currently is the trick performance kit. I've also browsed at the On3 performance kit as well as the KB racing turbo kit. My question to you guys is has anyone on here purchased any of the kits listed above, and has and or is currently running them on there Tahoe?

If not I definitely plan to keep everyone posted when I do so.

That trick performance doesn't seem to use name brands with their critical parts such as the turbo and waste gate.

on my ppv, I'm considering supercharging instead of turbo. Been down the snail path before, too of plumbing to worry about.

I plan on doing a turbo too but I’m going to piece it together with old exhaust pipes and a Chinese turbo

I'd love to see a NNBS Turbo Tahoe build.
I think the only Tahoe I've seen was Sloppy's build. That was a NBS.
I agree with Lance, build your own. You can find a Borg Warner for fairly short money.
I built a hot side for some kid and his F-body. Ours would be even easier since we have so much room.
Stock manifolds with v-bands welded on some 2" or 2.25" ss tubing and bends with a bellow for some flexibility, 1.75" ss tubing for wastegate and your hot side is done.

I'm going to piece it together but I'm going to purchase the hotside from kbracing. I don't want to have to tear it down and keep pulling and putting parts back on to get everything to fit the way I want. Don't really want it to turn into a project. If I purchase everything the way I plan to I can have it all on in a weekend and it'll cost me probably just a little over 3k which I'm fine with.

Getting parts wont be hard...I believe the tuning is going to be the most difficult part

Hey I have a 04 Yukon Denali that has the on3performance kit . I've had mine for a few years now , its my daily driver . All stock internal engine still , just a small cam and new better springs in my cylinder heads . At 15lbs of boost she runnin 750hp 675tq...
It is by far the Very best kit you can buy for the money . I know people that have went with the other kits and the only difference between mine and theirs is Half the cost...Save your money to spend on your fuel pumps and injectors cause theres no reason to spend twice as much on just as good of a turbo kit
Also the on3kit went together like butter...the whole thing was painless

I was looking at Armageddon's TT kit but 10k is a bit of stretch...700HP or not. I like a turbo because of the lack of parasitic power loss vs a SC but the difficulty of dealing with install, finding a shop to do the proper plumbing, intercooler, wastegate, oil lines, etc etc and tuning scares me too much. Too many points of failure in my eyes. My Burb is my DD and the SC just seems more practical for a daily driver in my eyes. $6k for a whipple kit and I have 500+ HP. This isn't a race car...or even a show car for me. Then again, to each his own.
