I don't how much difference changing any spring settings is going to make since the system is electronic, you may end up having to just change the pedal control or the throttle body or option #3 having it adjusted with a tech2 or by the dealer if it's even possible.

I have this issue as well. I forget where it was posted but someone has tried adding a shorter spring with little effect.

Pressing in the peddle is a mechanical...... I will get down there and see how it moves.....

Figure how to make the peddle movement looser, might tell me how to make it a little bit firmer.
Without looking at it yet, but seeing that photo, makes me wonder if adding a second spring?
( Like a second return spring on a '70's carburetor?)

If I drive somewhere farther, I wear light shoes. Heavy shoes takes away the throttle feel.

( GM made a mistake causing this problem )

Drive by wire is used in pretty much all vehicles these days. I have it in my 02 Denali and it works fine. I haven’t heard of many people who have an issue, it’s really rare. I guess it’s possible that the first year it was introduced there may have been some issues but mine is also the first iteration of the system and I like it. I also think it’s pretty cool that it’s possible to make a computer interface to adjust it in the later years like the Pedal Commander although I don’t feel the need for it.

lokar makes some aftermarket pedals that could always be a option, they are adjustable, I have window shopped them before there pretty nice.

Well. Today I moved the seat back a little farther then usual and that made a difference or I'm getting use to it.
I still would like a bit more pedal resistance so will change the spring.
