Wanna lift my Yukon XL 1500

So im trying to figure out a good and cheapish way to lift my 2002 Yukon XL 2WD. After some research im thinking i wanna do 3 inch spindles with rough country torsion keys in the front. Im not very knowledgeable in lifts or anything like that so im basically wondering if this will even work and if its a good option. Also wondering what i could do to bring the rear up as well. Any help is appreciated.

How much lift are you looking for?

Spindles plus torsion keys are going to get you into the 5-6" range. At that point you also need brake lines, shocks, abs line extenders probably.

In the rear I've seen z71 springs recommended for small amounts of lift, never personally used them. Good for 1.5" I think. Someone correct if that's wrong. Beyond that you're either looking at spacers or aftermarket springs, and again shocks at minimum.

If it were me, I'd do the z71 springs and the 3" spindles with front shocks and be done with it.

Appreciate the advice you’re probably right because I don’t really want to go to high I was just trying to get 3-4 inches max with the back sitting just a little lower than the front.

This is the truck now I just bought it and want to get it looking good hopefully a small lift and some 22s or 24s and she’ll be sitting pretty

Everyone has there opinions, if I wanted to go that route I would save up a bit more (if that’s why cheap is the way to go) buy a solid good name 3-4 inch lift do it proper so all geometry is correct and has best ride quality & then add the wheels / tires. I see a couple suburbans / xls around my way that way and even though I am more rubber vs wheel kind of guy, they look very nice n clean.
