purchased some weather tech floor-mats, cleaned up and polished up my headlights with 3m Headlight restore and took some air out of my tires, because the dealership I bought the hoe from had them way overinflated. Everyday I try to fix something small until I can get my lift and tires on. I think an alternator is in order next week, and my CB radio maybe tomorrow.

FINALLY installed the stuff I've been kicking around in the garage to do my '07-+ front brake upgrade for the last year and I gotta say it is indeed an upgrade from the '00-06 setup on our trucks. Not night and day but I actually feel like my front brakes actually do something for a change when I stomp on the front brakes. I am for sure going to start collecting parts to do the hydroboost upgrade which I'm sure will completely change the way this heavy rig stops once and for all! All in all, I'm pretty happy!

Had the beast towed home, after getting broadsided while going through an intersection. I guess a red light doesn't mean STOP to some people. Hit me on the passenger side, fast enough to spin me almost 180* and shift my whole rear end over about 3", tearing my frame in the process.

Thankfully nobody was hurt, waiting for an insurance adjuster to call me tomorrow, so my company can go after hers for the loss of my vehicle, and some of the contents.

But on a brighter note.... have found TWO Yukon XL's nearby. One is an '01 2500 with only 110K on it, they are asking $4900, but I'm sure cash talks (private seller). http://syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/5713784048.html
The other is an '04, but with 180K on it, but at a lesser $3995 (dealer listing).

Glad all safe. Bummer about the truck but replaceable. Must have been hauling some ass.

Thankfully you were in a rig that could protect you. Most other vehicles out there might have let you get hurt. And I agree with @Tonyrodz about the '01, and you can't go wrong with 70,000 fewer miles.
