Were those the invision headrest dvd players?

No, this was the stock Panasonic overhead unit. LCD worked fine, but DVD player kept giving the DVD load/eject error. Bought a used one off ebay and for less than the seller knocked off for the non-working DVD player ($85 shipped versus $100 off the asking price) we're back in business :-D

The victory red Sierra (my dad's truck) spent its first few years in Chicago as a fleet truck, so I blame Chicago. :D

My Yukon XL was lucky, it spent most of its life in Delaware.

Chicago for sure! It's a futile battle here...

Use to live in Chicago, winters suck there. Figure Michigan would be worse tho.

I had a 91 Chevy Suburban that spent its entire 350k miles in Michigan, and only the barn doors ever got that bad.

If the axels hadn't been a lost cause, I might still have it.
I wanted to make an Avalanche out of it... I still think the headlights on the 91 Suburban is the best GM has ever put on a truck. Four independently adjustable headlights are awesome.
