Well got the muffler and tip installed today (don't mind the filthy truck) looks pretty good might have the tip tucked up closer to the body, could go up a tad, going to get a Corsa cat-back down the road so this isn't really permanent, sounds great need to get some clips

Getting it up closer to the body would look a lot better. Glad your liking the sound of your Magnaflow!

Looks like it needs to go up and in. When I had mine done the muffler shop had the tip on an adjustable stand and he kept moving it around until I liked it, then he bent some pipe and tacked everything together just enough to pull the stand, then had me check one last time before he made it permanent. Seems like a lot but there's quite a few ways that it didn't look right and only one way that really looked great.

I'm thinking something along those lines, the way the factory exhaust is it doesn't really come out straight has a slight angle to it, so I'll have to have the pipe cut back and a new section welded in cause idt the factory pipe there can be modded correctly to make it look right

Yeah they cut out a section of mine and bent up a new piece. It took him a few trips back and forth from the pipe bender before he got it.

When I De-badged my truck, I used braided fishing line, some Goo-Gone, and an eraser wheel on a drill. And I used them in that order. Then I polished that area with some polishing compound and some finishing polish, and the outline on the paint completely disappeared.
And the braided fishing line worked GREAT because it has some texture to it, so it's better for sawing back and forth on the foam mounting tape.
Here is a before and after picture of mine De-badged. View attachment 183722 View attachment 183723 View attachment 183724

Those are the same Denali wheels I just finished painting!

You don't have any wheel spacers, do you? I've got a set of rivet-style flares going on mine, with 2 1/2" spacers on the rear, 1 1/2" on the front. Hopefully, the rears should stick out just about an inch, with the fronts flush....

You'll like them on your truck they look good on the NBS trucks, nope no wheel spacers they are reproduction rims but I think they are the same offset as the OEM rims
