Whatever you do, do NOT let your kids add glitter to the slime. I made that mistake and I have goddamned specks of glitter all over my house. My daughter had a sleepover with two of her friends a week or two ago and they made some damn slime with glitter in it.

Yes I have had fairy dust all over my house as well. My daughter turns 9 on Halloween, so we are doing the party on Saturday next week and the theme this year is a Messy Party. This will give you the general idea.

So we will have stations around the yard. Shaving cream Twister, homemade foam machine, donuts on a string, soap on the trampoline, maybe do the mystery food bag, non-toxic washable paint fight with squirt guns, plenty of hose time and whatever else the wife has dreamt up to make about 10 or so
9 year old girls really dirty (probably no truck work next weekend either grrr.......but one happy 9 year old girl...sooooo...I guess that would be priceless...err princess!?) Anyways, her birthday presents have been living in the back of my truck and she is about to lose her mind with excitement.

Sorry guys, I know this went off the NBS truck thread, but seeing that most of us currently have, have had or will have kids at this age and the kids rule the roost over the trucks, it is rather interesting stuff to see what you guys chime in with and the NBS thread is muy tranquilo. Cheers!!

Loaded a tune update from Blackbear. Took a ride down to Mexico and the Hoe broke her foot off in the a$$ of a new Range Rover. I'm sure he'll be at the dealer Monday complaining of power loss lol..

Yeah I managed to get the converter to lock. It was a tune issue. The only thing now is it will unlock as soon as you lift off the gas. That's an EFI Live issue. I found a fix for it but I'm not sure the guy can modify a Blackbear tune. Not sure why EFI live hasn't fixed this. The truck just rockets thru the gears and puts power down a whole lot better than my 4l60 could. At fwy speeds you punch it and it down shifts to 2nd and takes off!! Now my only issue is I kinda like the 3.42 gears now and wanted 4.10s.

That sounds right on. Do you have a write up on your build page ? I am thinking of doing the swap. Mainly cause I had my trailer out for on 600 mile run. The first 300 miles there was ok. On the way back I started to smell the tranny oil. It was a touch over full. But I think it got hot. Now the oil is a bit burnt and a bit dark.

I knew the 4L60 was not big enough but I will run it till she goes while I am collecting the parts for the swap.

Any help and insight would be great

Yeah I don't have a build page but thought about going back to that thread and adding details about the swap. I'd be happy to offer help and answer questions. There is a lot of info out on the swap but I had to piece it together.

Drivers side Axle and hub thought it would have been harder. Only pain was hammering the hub off. Drilled and tapped my extra oil pan little by little prepping for the turbo. Just need to clean it up and paint it.
