The nnbs base model one only has 2 wires like the nbs so trial and error is the same since mark already figured out the 4 wire plug lol.
I call it the base model cause I figure the +/- version is an upgrade option.
I actually have 2, one with +/- one without. But not an esky one. Either way the nnbs look and feel better than the nbs imoView attachment 186797

Edit: my wires were black , blue, pink , and purple . I hooked up the black and blue for the tow haul View attachment 186798
I wasn't aware there was a base model- is it leather?
Also edit: it looks like the 4-wire shifter in the picture has white and black wires? Also, why do you have a separate wiring harness that looks like it goes between the shifter and the truck? I see it has white wires on one end. That's confusing since the shifters don't come with that white connector do they?

Oh no you're right. I was going back looking at pics and got confused. They are white and black from the shifter, the blue/purple/black/pink are from the truck side of the plug from when I made my adapter harness. That's my bad, damn I was tired af last night while at work.
Only leather I thought are the esky shifters, otherswise they're all full plastic.
I used a male nbs connector and a female nnbs connector to make a adapter harness.

That makes sense. I was wondering since GM has always been pretty consistent with wiring color codes so parts can be interchangeable.

I have those shifters on both my nnbs’s, stitching out, thought about getting the ones with the stitching in, but Im not a huge interior mod guy, as long as nothings broke then Im good, I plan on doing some audio stuff but other than that, probably wont do anything else.

Today I finished vinyl-wrapping my Yukon. The paint has a lot of scratches and issues and looked good from 5 feet, but not so much close up. I didn't want to pay big money for a good paint job, so opted to vinyl-wrap instead (I've done a few of my vehicles in the past). Anyhow, Avery makes a gloss dark blue metallic that was very close to the original paint color.

Over the weekend I picked up some rear appliques and roof racks from a 2004 Escalade, so I vinyl-wrapped the chrome roof rack in gloss black and bolted it on. The Escalade parts give the Yukon a nice look, I think. I am on the fence whether to color-match the appliques. My wife thinks it looks like an extension of the windows in gloss black, which does have a nice effect.

PS - Does anyone know what to do with a scratch on the glass? My left rear quarter glass has a nasty scratch from municipality PO (seen in the photo).

Thanks, Adam.

The wrap looks great. The only thing you can do with a scratch like that is replace the glass.
