I've seen a 4x4 hub FAIL right in front of my eyes one time. The axle was removed from the LF hub and driven, it came apart pulling into the shop. Wheel fell off, fender damage happened, and messed up the tie rod from the landing.

happened to my bosses truck. granted his shit was all sorts of messed up up front. wish i knew the front diff was being held in place with ratchet straps before i took many trips with him at 80 mph.

he had a axle go bad. and was unable to find one and had things to do. so he drove it. that wheel came off at 80 mph on the NJ tpk. i literally lmfao when i heard this went down. wheel smashed the hell out the fender, then it went under the truck and it messed up the rocker pretty good.

he actually went and got another truck, just for the cab chassis. his truck was a extended cab 3500 duramax pick up. his mechanic literally took the cabs off both trucks and swapped everything over to the donor, then had to gut both cabs inside to remove all the wire harnesses to put in the donor. same on the frame side of things. that engine and tranny and rears got to have 400- 500,000 on em by now.

Hence your promotion to lead mecha.....oh.

I was automatically DQ'ed for that position when I shot a stream of flaming brake cleaner at him under the bathroom door while he was dropping a deuce. Lit the roll of TP on fire. :rotflmao:

That may have been the day he drug me out from under a car on my creeper and flung me into the street. Or maybe it was the day he dunked me head first into a trash can. Or maybe the day he poured used oil on my crotch as I was under a car. Or maybe the day he tapped on a truck's bumper with a ratchet when I started it after changing the oil, making it sound like the engine was knocking. Or maybe the day he...

Should've stopped to ask if he had rear end work done at a local shop so you'd know where NOT to go.
