How would you know? Do you have a DOT tester?hey at least they didn't lie and say it was DOT approved when 99% of the aftermarket crap out there that is marked DOT is fake as hell

Yeah, who asks for paperwork proving something is DOT approved? Just like Chinese knockoffs, it’s pretty much impossible to tell. I have a pair of Ray-Bans that I guarantee you can’t tell from the real thing including the case and even wiping cloth.

Not really. But glad I do t ha e to worry about them basically ever again
Stripping and repainting my exterior door handles again. I painted them a year ago and the base must not have cured enough or it just reacted with the U-Pol because it spider webbed. I’ll let it cure a day this time and I’m using Spray Max 2k clear.

Anybody have experience replacing an intermediate steering shaft? Tired of my Tahoe having a seizure when going over small bumps. I am definitely a novice when it comes to repairs, but figured since I’m quarantined at home I might as well try it out. Of course I’ve watched a few YouTube tutorials on it and half the comments I’ve seen have been it was very easy and slid right in and the other half was it was one of the most frustrating repairs they’ve done. Anybody done this and have input on whether or not I should bother trying to do this? Or not risk the possible frustration with limited tools here at the house.
