Well that sux! Are you gonna pull it yourself again?
Yeah,I don’t have much choice, but at least I won’t be under pressure to do it fast. I have nothing but time like most of us. I’ll do it over a few days probably. Or not lol. I bought a trans jack last time so there’s that.

essir, Jim Thompson. Are you one of the guys I’ve sent his way? I have terrible memory.

Yes sir....I reached out to you several months ago looking for a local source for paint and body work and you sent me right to Jim & Monica. Good people and legit work. They're the ones who painted my appliques and did the work on the fender from my little incident awhile back.

Well shit. I managed to break my Performabuilt Level 3 4l60 again. WOT hitting second and something snapped, no forward but reverse is fine. I talked to the boys there and although I’m tempted to do the 4l80 swap and try to find the unicorn adapter for my nv249 transfer case, I decided to give the a Black Edition 4l60 a try, but if it breaks that will be the last straw. I have to pay the difference but it will come with a new 2 year warranty. It’s rated for 1000 HP but that’s not what’s killing these, it’s the weight and AWD COMBINED with boost. Dammit.

I think I’d want to know what failed, hate to upgrade the trans, but not know if you’re upgrading the failure point.
If you’re breaking hard parts, going down in HP rating to the more expensive heavy hauler max might be more durable in your application than the black edition. Softer shift might be ******* clutches, but if that’s not where you’re having trouble, softer shift might of saved the part that broke, and be easier on the rest of your driveline. If the black edition holds, it might test the next weakest link in your driveline

Agreed. Of course, AWD + SUV = trouble, but what broke? That's really the key to the solution.

Washed it at home in the driveway along with some 22" OEM Sierra Snowflakes that I bought earlier today. I also picked up my front bumper, my Denali rear bumper and Escalade 3rd brake light from the painter. I'm gonna have some fun tomorrow installing everything. The rims will have to wait on some tires though. Two have good meat, but the other two are worn on the inside to bald.

Installed the led taillights and 3rd brake light, but noticed that my remote start will not kick on the truck when activated.
Already had the L.E.D. Novita flasher fix installed aswell. When getting the error codes from the remote, says Brake foot pedal engaged, which is odd. Has anybody had this issue with aftermarket L.E.D tails before causing this issue and how did you fix it.
