What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Where you put it?


I put it I about an inch from the nut on the shaft under the hood. I drilled the shaft in place and did not have to remove it. The video shows that you have to remove the shaft. Make sure you put epoxy on the bottom of the shaft if not the grease is not going to stay in place.

Help me decide which tires to get!

So I’ve been very happy with the Yokohama’s I currently have. I want very little road noise, and winter snow / ice traction is important.

These are going on my 2015 Yukon wheels, so size will be 285/60R18.

I’m leaning towards the KO2’s, but the Grabbers get even better ratings. They’re all pretty close, just looking for first hand experience and feedback, especially from anyone whose had more than one of these tires.

Stay away from BFG's if you want a quiet ride.

Most of BFG's tires are load ranges D and E and they tend to give a very harsh ride - they are great tires, especially off road - BUT their on road ride characteristics are not the best. If most of your driving is on asphalt I would try to stay with load ranges P or C - much better ride quality.
