Man I need to clean my seat belts again, and do a better job this time. It’s just such a PIA.

Try to take the seat out this time and do as I've done if u can accomodate that. Removing the seat is just 4 blots and 2 nuts, but u can wash the seatbelts in the sink with a very hot water, washing detergent, go with a brush and rinse it properly. I actually left it soak with the detergent for a night. It's a boring job, but the result is amazing!

Yeah, that’s what I mean by a PIA. I did it with the seats in and I know I need to pull them. I’ve done that when replacing the leather. It’s not the bolts, it’s carrying them in the house. They’re awkward and a bit heavy for an old dude like me. I don’t need to tweak my back.

Today I put in a new throttle body.....Amazon $70. Says it has upgraded electronics and actuator for better throttle response and longevity.
Longevity? LOL the first one lasted 18 years....and maybe it was bad. Computer was throwing a TPS code and went into reduced power mode...twice, I hate those
reduced power mode codes. So we'll see if the TB was it. Hopefully not the pedal as I hate going under there.

And while I was there I did the infamous throttle body coolant bypass mod with this little piece I got from home depot, $2 LOL (1/4 inch, barbed)
Guaranteed to reduce TB temp by 15-20 degrees......reduced IATs may vary based on application but should be lower.

Yeah, I had to ask for help to bring the seat upstairs. I'd scatch and destoy all dry walls around the stairs if I attempted to do it on my own.

It doesn’t do anything. That’s an old wives tale. I did it anyway though, just to make removing the TB easier.

Which brand tb did you go with? Have you checked your grounds? Especially on the ds frame rail under the running board.
