What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not today but I bought mine yesterday! 2005 Yukon XL SLT 4x4. PO painted it last year. I can’t stand the smoked headlights, so I ordered new housings front and rear this morning.

Looks great! I'm not a fan of smoked headlights or tails either.

I applied cerakote March 13th. It’s rained and been washed several times since then. Still looking good, I have done nothing but wash with my mitt with soap. 2 and half months is impressive, showing no signs of needing reapplication so far

Looking good! I still need to get mine applied! Never have the time to properly clean all the plastics..!

Don’t worry new heads and tails are already on the way! The wheels are going to stay for a little while. I have big plans for this but with that comes a big budget, and the tires are almost brand new.

Understand. I bought wheels and tires, but had just put new shoes on the factory wheels, so waited almost a year to change them.

Very cool. I need to do something like this with mine. Leds with stock reflectors just turns them into floods so I've got mine aimed way down. Not very useful...

Installed my Esky knob. Satisfying....





And, mounted a fire extinguisher the other day finally. Went with the seat rail mount, so it would be close at hand if needed. The price for the mount was absolutely ridiculous. If I had any fabrication skills whatsoever, would have just built my own bracket. (Mounted to the front of the seat on the drinker side)

All right you guys have convinced me so I just ordered the Cerakote. I need to either apply trim dressing or this so this it is. I sure wish doing detail work was as easy as ordering products. I don’t know how many waxes and coatings I have on the shelf but not much on the trucks dammit.

my truck took me maybe 20 minutes and 4 packets. you literally just wipe it on. and its all glossy as you wipe. cant miss where you've already been with the wipe. im pretty amazed how good it looks instantly.
