Been going crazy the last few years making my tahoe like new again.
Finally knocked out the driver side rocker. What a PITA. I used a rocker I had cut out of some guys suburban he was parting out.
Next is the passenger side but that one isn't bad at all just a couple holes, might only take a couple hours, gonna use part of a slip on rocker.
Not perfect but it is going to last!
Next on the list is new front and rear bumpers, all black, 2500hd conversion up front, and S&B body mounts.
Also replacing the pitman arm, the last piece I replaced basically everything else in the steering and suspension.
I tightened up my gear box, what a difference that made, but I think I can tighten it a little more. How tight should my steering be? There is a tad bit of play but not sure what is the normal amount.
I need a good alignment it is definitely not dialed in, still a little camber on driver wheel, but after all that is done I am finishing up with 18" silverado takeoffs and probably some mich defenders 275/65r18
