I've never understood the mix matched tire thing either.

I don't "get" it...but I understand it..

let's say you are Joe Schmoe who doesn't know shit about cars. You bring your car into "X" shop for oil change. They inform you two front tires are bald. You replace two front tires with what said shop sells you (or what you can afford).

You now have 2 different sets of tires....

My Bad, I do understand it as well and just do NOT GET IT! Sorry.

All I am saying is, ....... if you take care of your vehicle, have it properly aligned, have the air pressure pretty much regularly checked and you run the correct pressure, you rotate your tires regularly, THEN HOW CAN ONE JUST NEED 2 NEW TIRES?
