What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

@Rocketman I thought you would have had that installed by now.
Remember, you need to add an additional relay in order to be able to connect with that AC compressor wire. The blue trigger wire on the OEM harness is the AC trigger wire, and it's triggered by a negative. You just need the additional relay to change the positive trigger from your AC compressor wire to send a negative trigger to that blue wire. I have had mine wired up like that since about early 2011 and it's held up just fine in these brutal Louisiana summers.

I was trying to see if my upgraded ls1fans harness would be ok. I have my answer lol. I'm aware about the extra relay. I have the relay and I can find your write-up on it in the Tech section. Thanks.

You should take a few pictures of the all the melting and make a thread on here and the other sites. This is the reason why people want OEM harnesses now. And I can't even keep up with the demand. Every time I find one at a salvage yard, I grab it and refurbish it and it's sold within a week usually.

20x10 Hostile Sprockets -19mm offset
275/60R20 Tires

The tires are just junk used ones until I decide on what to put on it. I'm torn right now, I work at a Firestone independently owned shop so I'm either looking at the Firestone Destination A/T or the Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus. I won't be doing any offroad driving, just highway and in town. I like the look of the A/T but the performance of the Alenza is unparalleled...like I said...torn lol

Replaced crossmember bushings last weekend. It's a real treat in the driveway with minimal workspace. I'd say to pass on doing the replacement yourself if you have a mechanic that will charge you max 2 hours labor. Most around me wanted 4 hours to replace.

Another busy day... luckily it went smooth(er) compared to yesterday.

The camber bolts (1 on each side) gave me a huge problem and were rusted in. I had to break out some muscle today to break them free. That took the longest part of everything. I'm just happy I prepared for it and ordered new moog camber bolts.

Tierods were cake and once the old UCAs were out the new ones went in flawlessly.

The front end is insanely tight. I'm going to try to schedule an alignment tomorrow.

Next up is to attempt to finish the free travel mod then fun stuff like repainting the hood

Dang brother that front end is looking awesome. While I was having the muffler welded in I took a look at a lot of the front end bushings and none of them looked to bad. Thank goodness. Great looking job man.

Thanks man. It was a ton of work. But the front end is solid now and responds great. I have an appointment for an alignment tomorrow as well.

Driving to Newark airport, suddenly I start hearing a horrible clanging/grinding sound on the highway. It seems to stop when I let off the gas. I end up driving the rest of the way to the airport on the HWY at 20mph (it was NOT fun, but there was no way in hell I was missing my flight to Iceland). Make it to the airport, leave it in economy parking and catch my flight. Once I returned I had it towed to a shop in Brooklyn. It's hard to say what went bad first, but by the time the shop looked at it, the transmission was so mangled they couldn't even rebuild it. SO to the tune of $3300 I had a new transmission put in. Had them fix the AC while they were at it (thank god).

So I'm back up and running. Probably going to focus on paint/body work and 6 piston brakes next. These stock brakes aren't really can't handle these oversize wheels and tires.

How do you like the Belltech shocks? I’m debating those or Bilstein 4600’s had the Belltech silver shocks on my OBS with a mild drop rode good
