I get two 5qt jugs and use one for just the 6th qt that lasts me 5 oil changes and just have to buy one 5qt jug for each of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th changes.

Now that I have 2 yukons I do the same thing but start with three jugs and the extra jug I take the 6th qt from only lasts half as long.... Lol

I do something similar. I get mine when there's an O'Reillys deal for $10 gift card rebate. Limit 2. You can buy jugs or quarts. So I get one jug and 5 quarts. This way I can keep an extra quart in the truck, too. Then use the $20 gift cards to buy them next time the deal comes around. Lol.

ive done valve seals, not the worst job out there. just a little scary lol

Yeah I did a valve seal job on my Jeep. Wasn't the worst thing in the world once I got the proper tools. I tried doing it without an air valve holder at first.... that was pretty stupid. Luckily though, it's not the Hoe that's leakin', it's the Ram. So I only have to remove about 2/3rds as much stuff to get the valve covers off ;)

That's not a bad idea. I'll have to do that next go-round.

I usually order a case of Amsoil, which is 12 quarts. Exactly enough for two oil changes. The Amsoil filters have gotten ridiculously expensive the last few years, so I usually ****** a few Mobil1 filters from Rockauto whenever I place an order for other parts. I do sometimes grab those Mobil1 deals when they are ridiculously cheap at Advance, O'Reilly, or AutoZone, but 90% of the time I run Amsoil.
