Using these diagrams but my new mirrors don't fold electrically just manual and don't have memory and don't have dimming. I think that if I forget about the colors and the stuff that the new mirrors don't have this diagram will work. What do you think?

May I ask, why are you using the mirrors from a newer year. Do they have the turn signals.

Ok, so ur tahoe didn't come with puddle lights. What year is your truck.

I'm doing the same thing to my 01 silverado, but what I did was just swap the bases from one another. So I had to disassemble both mirrors completely and I used the base with puddle light to my mirrors.

I depinned the 2 leads from lamp connector and pinned them to my old connector. Ground is already there on the door harness, all I need is to run the orange wire to the courtesy lamp supply and I'll have power

These are the 2 lamp leads to the connector.

This is the 2 connectors connected to each other. As you see on the door harness ground is there, all I need to do is run a lead from the door harness to door courtesy lamp power. And that should light up when hitting the key fob or interior lights.

Sorry long day today. No fun mods today. Worked on the yard which is not nearly as fun. LOL.

The 2005 is sitting on 24" Staggered offset Asantis. The 2015 is on 26" Staggered offset Intros.
intro goes by backspacing which Im sure you know if you ordered from them. But what do you mean by staggered- the fronts are different from the rears? If so, why would you do that for this application? I have way different backspacing on my bagged and bodied Silverado but that’s due to the fact Im tucking them and the rear ended is narrowed to run a 9” lip. The fronts have a large backspacing in order to get steering while tucked.

Yes sir. I do know. I'm running 24" Staggered offset intros on my 02 Silverado. Narrowed the rear end 3" on each side, 373 gears. Eaton Posi, Moser Axles etc. Running a Staggered offset wheel with as much dish depth without having to modify the wheel wells in the bed.

On the 2011 Crew Cab and the Escalade, I wanted as much dish as I could have without having to narrow axles or modify wheel wells. Intro set me up with the backspace needed on the 26s where I could have a deeper dish in the back while not not interfering with any of the suspension components.

On the Crew Cab same thing but running 24" Asantis. I have been thinking about a set of Intros for the Crew Cab as well. We'll see. No rush at the moment which is a good thing considering it takes about 3 months to get them. LOL

Pic below shows the different offset. This pic is a few month old taken before I color matched some of the front and rear pieces. other pics of the Crew Cab and the 02 SIlverado that is the DD in Louisiana at the moment. I"ll bring it back to Florida when my assignment ends.

Come to think of it. Almost all of my rides have staggered offset wheels. The SS has staggered offset 22" wheels as well. That one started it all...

OK, I need some help. Can anybody identify these wires on my new 03-07 side mirrors? The wiring diagram I found doesn't make sense. It may be because the diagram is for the wires that are in the door and not the colors in my plugs. Even so, they don't match up to the locations in the plugs.

Old plugs and I have identified what they are.

New plugs without up/down control identification.
I need to know what the yellow, orange, and white wires are.
left/right ?, up/down ?, common for movement ?
The red and black on each set is for the turn signal.
The gray wires on each set are for the mirror heater.

I bought the same mirrors for my 03--puddle lights, turn signals with powerfold. Everything works except the powerfold, I think thos gears are stripped. All I did was just plug them into the power window master switch. That's it. No rewiring. Puddle lights come on with the fob.
