I did that to my 02 Denali. Even though it doesn’t have a body lift (it’s lowered) the Denali’s have a huge gap from the factory. I did mine a bit simpler though, it only needed 5/8”.

Got the no rear brakes issue fixed. Turned out the be a proportioning valve. Whole dang brake system is new at this point.
