You don’t fold half your second row down so your buddy can roam around? My Malamute loves to go look out the rear window. Man would he love that snow!

I've got EXT, it's a pick up basically, so there's really no room to roam. I tried to fold them, but he likes to stick out his head and watch surrounding while we driving.

Having said that, he destroyed the seats with his nails. I would have to work something out when I decide to refresh leather on my seats.

Ahh, I didn’t notice, not very observant. Mine loves sticking his head out too, then run to the back and stare at the car behind us, then stick his head out the window. And yeah my second row seat is taking a hit.

He could also try pulling the lower part of the seat out and tucking that moving blanket in and around the seat as a temp fix. The Carhartt cover material should be thick enough to protect against his nails. Worst case scenario--rear lower seats are cheap in the junkyards.

That’s a great idea, Tony! I’m gonna look for one for mine. Everything looks new except the lower driver side rear, where Kinjo stands and looks out the window. Those Carharts are like $450 for the second row only, that’s ridiculous. And I only need the bottom of the one side.

Thanks guys. I'm actually trying to put the pin IN, not remove it. This blue part the arrow points to prevents the pin from inserting. You can see I damaged it a little fiddling with it. When that part is removed, it allows the pin to insert. Then it slides over the top of the pin to keep it in place. It won't push left out of the way to allow the pin to go in. But I think the only way to do that is to remove the entire white plug but I have no effing clue how to do that. That screw won't come all the way out.

If I remember correctly, you need to remove the bolt there in the center of the connector block and then unplug it. The TPA slides in from the side, it's kind of like a long-toothed comb. It should be something like this:

Thanks, Doug. I couldn't get that bolt in the center out, it just spins. And pulling on the white connector only yielded ~3/8" of movement. Didn't want to FUBAR it, so went a different direction.
