Here’s a couple. Not great pics, but you can see how black the heads were. On another note.. this bracket is pretty hard to get clean. Any pointers are appreciated. Buy new..? :D
I cleaned that bracket in place with Super Clean full strength, then masked off as best I could and sprayed it with VHT crinkle black paint. It’s a PIA to remove it, you have to remove the pulley off the power steering pump. The paint covered everything that’s visible.

Suburban decided to puke its guts out on the freeway. Limped it home. I’m in the middle of replacing coolant, radiator, quick connect on the heater core. Got the radiator from vatozone I did verify radiator comes with the restriction on the right tank. Have great heat up front not so much in the back. May have to empty it out and burp it via the top radiator instead of the overflow tank.

Removed the door mouldings and the 3m tape left yellow staining I have not been able to remove. Should have left them on. :banghead:

Make sure to use an OEM t connector, the Dorman ones fail quickly. Some buffing compound and a good buffer should remove the yellow.
