Which end links did you use?Changed the front hubs on thenewhoe. While I was down there, I did the sway bar links too. Holy carp, they were terrible. Both hubs were leaking.

If that valve was gunked up, then your AFM system would look the same on the insides. Buildup is the #1 killer of AFM components due to the tiny passages all throughout. Gotta keep clean oil in it! You also can't flush the engine with harsh chemicals since they aggressively break up the crud in larger chunks. These chunks move through the system and get lodged in the oil passages in lifters, push rods, the solenoids in the VLOM, etc. You gotta gradually dissolve the deposits over time with the detergents in quality oil.
Do you track your engine's oil consumption? Have a catch can?
By the way, the torque specs are just as you found: 18 ft. lbs on the pan bolts and 106 in lb. on the two long skinny ones at the rear. DO NOT attempt to tighten those two rear bolts to 18 ft. lbs.
Mine runs that high until it gets up to temp
I'd leave it deactivated. My reasoning is that the lifters are held rigid by a pin that is retracted when AFM activates. If the pin never moves, the lifter can't collapse uncommanded unless a part physically breaks. If you turn on AFM, the pins may retract but not return to the "locked" position, leading to failure.I have been running this thing with the dod/afm disabled via hp tuners.
Think there would be any benefit to enable it for a short time after i have everything sorted to hopefully flush the system out a little?
Or better to keep it off until I'm ready/willing to do a full gut and a mild cam thrown in?
The OEM ones cost a bit but the aftermarket ones break so easy. Did you order chrome ones or are you gonna CM?Ordered up a set of new OEM exterior handles
