I got barbaric with mine. I first stood it up in a tray to bleed out like a hog for a few weeks while I worked elsewhere on the engine. Then, I sprayed the inside (in each port and through TB) with foaming engine degreaser and rinsed that with the high pressure nozzle on the garden hose. Repeated until the foamy water washed out white. Then, I sprayed brake cleaner everywhere inside it, shook it around from all angles to stir it, and repeated until the liquid running out was clear. Soaked it one last time with the brake cleaner and blew it dry with the compressor. Inside was sanitary. If I remember, I'll check the manifold for oil when I do my oil change in 1,000 miles. That may be a few months, though.

I wanted to do the degreaser and hose, but it's 19 degrees outside.
And silly me forgot to use compressed air on the garden hose when I cleaned the second head.
My hose is more of a weapon at this point. :ehcapt:

so i ran with what i had.

I did seriously think about bringing the intake inside and clean it in the tub... only for a moment though.

I did at least store the intake in a garbage bag and tied off due to the fuel fumes.
So i had a ton of oil left behind.
I wish i turned it on it's side... but oh well.

So am I right in saying the second row won’t fold flat like the nbs did?

"Folds flat" as in to the floor?
I Wish!

My S10 blazer did that, loved it.

Just fold the 2nd row all the way forward and it gives you sorta what your looking for...
sorta. :jester:

Sorta. Lmao. Not even close. So to get the same idea I need to have a platform in the third row so everything lines up on top of the seats when the back is down.

What a brilliant design to a shit show.

If the 3rd row seatbacks are folded down, they will be the same level as the 2nd row ones

Yes but you lose that storage space for useless seats where no one ever sits. A platform would be a better use of the space.

Different strokes for different folks. My 3rd row gets used sometimes by either my daughter or my dog. I just keep them in there, never really had to remove them. They'd have to be stored in the garage somewhere then. Having the LWB gives a lot more room for stuff behind the 3rd row without having to flip them forward or remove them.

Same here. With 4 kids, 3rd row gets used all the time. Only time I’ve taken them out were to do some deep cleaning. Of course I also have a truck so it gets most if the heavy hauling assignments.
