Denali has been sitting a couple days in the snow. Cleaned it off and snowblowered mine and my neighbors driveways (both about 100-120 feet long). Backed it up a bit to get the area it was parked in and noticed a couple pink spots in the snow near where the front of the motor would be. Looked at where I installed the external trans filter and trans fluid had dripped down onto the front splash shield and then drips off the lower corner of that.

Apparently the one hose clamp going onto the hose barb was loose. Guess the cold weather caused the rubber hose to contract a bit, or whatever, who knows. I tightened it up and wiped off as much of the trans fluid that I could. I'll have to check it later after driving it some.

I did check the fluid level, but the trans temp was only at about 73* and it was at the full cold mark on the dipstick. It's been so cold here the past week, about 0* with wind chills of -15 to -20, the trans temp only gets to about 120* when driving.
